Now here's a story straight out of a Modern Family episode, and it's all about sitcoms favorite method of comedy: a misunderstanding turned into a lot of laughs.

On a weekend L.A. to Vegas flight, the male stars of Modern Family (Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stonestreet) were clowning around with fellow plane passengers, when suddenly Stonestreet asked a question that stunned the plane…

A passenger on the plane tells us that while everyone was standing up and collecting their luggage after landing, Stonestreet asked loudly enough for everyone to hear: "Did you bring cocaine?"

My word, Cameron! Surely you wouldn't dare partake in such a dangerous habit!

Of course not. Burrell quickly jumped in and said that Cocaine is the real name of the dog on the show, and Stonestreet was not trying to get a fix. In fact, knowing him, he was just trying to get a rise out of the passengers. "They were talking to everybody and being so nice," the passenger tells us. "You felt like you were in an episode of Modern Family."

Apparently they were on their way to Vegas not for the iHeartRadio music festival, but to just have a guys' weekend.

Could you love this cast anymore? We didn't think it was possible, but they keep on adding on to their awesome factor. We think they're at 197% awesomeness at this point.
