Are you tired of hearing future Ted talk to his kids on How I Met Your Mother? If you said, "duh, yes," then we have the best bit of casting scoop for you!

According to our sources, HIMYM is currently casting for…wait for it…Robin's kids! In an upcoming episode, future Robin will be chatting with her children in the same format that we've seen from future Ted. But that's not even the best part…

Robin's son is described as blonde. Blonde, we tell you!

Guess who else is blonde? Barney Stinson.

Do you pick up what we're putting down? Of course you do! Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) and Robin (Cobie Smulders) make babies and live happily ever after! Is it really embarrassing that we took a hair color and immediately jumped to this crazy conclusion? Of course, but you can't tell us what to do!

Right now on HIMYM, Barney is blissfully in love with Nora while Robin pines for him from afar. And by "afar," we mean from the opposite side of the booth at MacLaren's. It hurts us so, but this scoop sure puts a little more wind in our shipper sails.

It should also be noted that HIMYM is looking for a daughter for Robin as well, and she will be brunette. Can't you see Robin and Barney having a blonde son and brunette daughter? We can. And if we know Barney-Robin fans, we fully anticipate that hearing this bit of casting scoop is enough to give them a wee bit of hope for our favorite awesome duo. Robin hasn't had any other blonde love interests besides Barney (so far), so we're taking this info and wrapping it around us like a fluffy Stinson-Scherbatsky slanket.

What do you guys think? Is this news worth a bit of excitement? Or are we totally reaching and should be ashamed of ourselves? Either way, hit the comments get your speculation on!
