It's the '80s all over again.

Twenty-four years after Universal treated the world to Twins, the hit comedy that paired Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito as the most unlikely fraternal twins imaginable, the studio is ramping up development on a sequel dubbed—you guessed it!—Triplets.

And it's looking to add Eddie Murphy to the brood as the third brother.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, both Ah-nuld and Danny are on board for the follow-up, and while there's no story yet, the Coming to America star would play the test-tube brothers' long-lost sibling.

The original 1988 flick, which marked Schwarzenegger's first foray into comedy, grossed a whopping $111 million worldwide so another installment doesn't seem like such a far-fetched idea.

So if the former bodybuilding champ's Julius got the most desirable traits and DeVito's Vincent the genetic shortcomings, where does that leave Murphy's character—the best sense of humor?

Ivan Reitman, who produced and helmed Twins, will only serve as producer this time around with Universal likely handing the reins to a younger helmer (son Jason perhaps?). A search is also under way for writers.
