After getting out of the brig, Soulja Boy wants the world to know he's the not the bad guy authorities say he is.

The rapper otherwise known as DeAndre Cortez Way vehemently proclaimed his innocence on drug and weapons charges in Temple, Ga., shortly after after posting a $10,000 bond and being released from jail Tuesday—by the way, the same day Soulja Boy—The Movie went straight to DVD.

Helluva promotional campaign, don't ya think? Here's what he had to say.

"I'm innocent, man. I love you all. I just want you all to know I'm innocent," Soulja Boy was quoted by CBS Atlanta as telling a group of 50 fans while his bodyguards escorted him to a waiting car outside a bail bond company.

The "Crank That" MC was busted Tuesday after Georgia's Finest pulled over the Cadillac SUV he was riding in after observing a broken tail light and found over five ounces of marijuana, three guns and $46,000 in cash (not the $70,000 that was initially reported).

Three of Soulja Boy's posse as well as the vehicle's driver face similar charges. Officers also reportedly confiscated his puppy, which they gave back to him upon his release.

So far it's not clear who owns the firearms or pot. Police are investigating.

After getting out of the joint, the 21-year-old hip-hopster subsequently took to Twitter to continue plugging his documentary and thank those supporters who stood by him.

"Thank you and i'm sorry. love you forever, seeing your letters and you standing outside that jail made me feel the love. my fans r the best," Soulja tweeted last night.

Hours later, he offered up an additional mea culpa to the makers of Soulja Boy—The Movie: "I missed 10 interviews today for my new movie! to those companies i'm sorry! you can see I had a lil situation. the show must go on."

But it wasn't the artist's last word on the subject.
