Angelina Jolie (and her $500,000 rock!) were honored in Bosnia at the 18th Sarajevo Film Festival on Saturday.

The actress turned up at the festival to support her flick In the Land of Blood and Honey. The film tells the story of the war through the relationship between a Bosnian Serb man and a Bosnian Muslim woman, and the writer-director stepped out for the first time at a public event with her new bling from Brad Pitt, while receiving an Honorary Citizen of Sarajevo award from the Prime Minister of the Sarajevo Canton, Mr. Fikret Musić.

Jolie spoke of her deep connection to the country: "The time I spent and the people I met in Bosnia have changed me forever. I can't tell you how much it means to me to be named an honorary citizen of Sarajevo, a city so dear to my heart."

As for directing the movie, Jolie revealed: "It was the hardest thing I have ever done because of my deep respect for the people that really experienced it. The experience here was so unique for me that I felt very connected to the people."

Although the actress failed to discuss her ring in the interview, we can't help but to notice it!

Here's to Angie for being the humanitarian she is—and to the wedding we can't wait to obsess over!
