Lady Gaga is revealing her own take on love in a new interview with CBS Sunday Morning

Without mentioning his name, the "Million Reasons" songstress, whose five-year relationship with actor Taylor Kinney came to an end over the summer, offered possible insight into why the former couple called their engagement off.

"I think women love very hard," Gaga explained. "We love men. We just love with everything we have. And sometimes I don't know that that love is met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with."

Instead, the Joanne performer wants her romantic partners to understand that she's not intentionally undermining their masculinity.

"You know," Gaga continued, "We're not trying to make you less of a man. We just want you to love us as deeply and as wholesomely and as fully as we love you."

And although the 30-year-old's latest comments about her experience in the dating game seem slightly well, passive aggressive, Gaga's long insisted that she remains on good terms with the Chicago Fire star.

"I would just say that my music on my album as well as all my albums is inspired by my personal life and this one more than others," she revealed to E! News when asked about meaning behind "Perfect Illusion." "I have said it before—I love Taylor so much and he's my best friend."
