Bex Taylor-Klaus is setting the record straight about her sexuality.
The 22-year-old Scream star took to Twitter this week to come out as gay, writing, "hello my name is bex and yes the rumors are true I am v gay."
Taylor-Klaus has long fielded rumors about her sexuality, largely because of the numerous characters she's played on television. In AMC series The Killing, Bex's starred as a lesbian, followed by her playing an LGBT basketball player in House of Lies and bisexual high schooler on MTV's Scream.
In 2013, the young starlet reportedly addressed the ongoing speculation via Facebook, telling her fans, "I am a straight girl who plays a gay character on TV. No, I am not ashamed."

Shortly after Wednesday's announcement, Taylor-Klaus began livestreaming on YouNow with a Q&A session.
"Terrified, absolutely terrified," the actress responded to one fan when asked of how she felt leading up to her coming out. "Part of why I'm coming out is because there's so much hate and fear in and around the LGBT community right now and it's important for us not to halt progress out of fear."
Bex added, "Yes, it's a scary time, but we need to stand up and say, even if you are afraid, I'm not afraid, or even if I am afraid, I'm strong. I am who I am and you can't take that away from me."
The actress later took to Twitter with a gracious message for her followers: "Thank you for all the love and support since last night -- it truly means a lot!"
