Supermodel Stephanie Seymour was involved in a car accident and subsequently arrested Friday night in Connecticut.

E! News confirms that the 47-year-old was part of a two-car collision in Greenwich yesterday evening which resulted in her arrest for alleged DUI.

Seymour stopped her Land Rover at the end of an off-ramp from Interstate 95 and then put the vehicle in reverse, colliding with a Mercedes Benz, according to a police report obtained by E! News.

The report also states that her vehicle was on its side when they arrived at the scene.

"Upon arrival, I observed a black Land Rover sideways at the top of the ramp and behind it was a white Mercedes," the document states.

"As I approached the operator of the Black Land Rover, I detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage omitting from her mouth as she tried to answer my questions."

The officer continues, "After six or seven requests for her license, registration and insurance, she finally was able to fumble through her purse, as she handed over her Connecticut driver's license, along with a credit card."

Seymour refused to complete sobriety tests, according to the report, and was placed under arrest for operating under the influence and unsafe backing.

She was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on February 2 to answer to the charges.
