That's what Christina Aguilera fans are hoping for after the singer took to Instagram over the weekend and shared a brand-new photo of herself working in the music studio.
Dressed casual in a blue flannel, the "Beautiful" singer had her headphones on and the microphone turned up as she stood in her creative space.
While Christina didn't add a caption to the photo, it was enough to get some fans speculating as to what could be next for the pop superstar.
"Can't wait for the new album, it's been a while xtina," one fan wrote. Another added, "Just do ur THANG honey" in honor of her hit single "Ain't No Other Man."
It's been more than three years since Christina released a full studio album to her fans around the world. Her last finished product was Lotus that featured collaborations with Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green.
Raising two kids and coaching contestants on The Voice has kept the blond beauty busy in recent years. Fans, however, can't ever forget about the singer who made "Genie in a Bottle" and "Fighter" smash hits.
"I've been loosely working and accumulating ideas for what my next album will be for the last couple of years," she told Today show's Natalie Morales back in October. "I'm excited for my fans to finally be getting something from me. It's been awhile."
Until then, Christina is expected to return to The Voice with fellow coaches Blake, Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine this February on NBC.
