Two years after Paul Walker's death, his family continues to pay tribute to the actor's legacy with some relaxing days spent in the water.

While families throughout the country typically spend Nov. 28 offering their gratitude for the good things in their lives, the holiday marks a solemn occasion for the family of the Fast and the Furious actor, who was killed in a car crash days later on Nov. 30, 2013.

Despite the emotional difficulty of the day, the Walker family forges ahead with their beloved son and brother ever present in their minds.

"The Walker clan will all be spending Thanksgiving together," Felicia Walker, Paul's sister-in-law, told E! News exclusively at the time of the holiday. "It's a tough time of year for the family. I can't speak for the rest of the family, but I know the brothers plan on spending the whole weekend in the ocean—Paul's love—but is actually a trend that runs in the family.

For Paul's two brothers, Cody Walker and Caleb Walker, being close to the water is like being close to their beloved sibling.

"Cody and Caleb spend as much time as possible in the ocean—kayaking, spearfishing, surfing, free diving—you name it," Felicia told E! News. "I know it reminds them of Paul."

In addition to seaside activities and the Paul Walker Foundation, the family remains heavily committed to the natural disaster relief effort, Reach Out Worldwide, that was dear to Paul's heart up until the day he was killed.

"Cody and [Paul's] mom, Cheryl, are on their way to Panama today for a ROWW-related conference," Felicia revealed to E! News. "Paul talked to his mom extensively about being a part of ROWW. It was actually a major part of the last conversation she had with him the day that he died as he was on his way to the toy drive."

Paul had just left the toy drive in 2013, which was held that year in honor of the devastation of Typhoon Haiyan, when the car he was sitting in crashed and subsequently became engulfed in flames

"Two years ago to the day—maybe even to the hour—Paul and Cheryl were discussing bringing her on full time with ROWW and now she's on her way with Cody to a conference in Panama for ROWW," Felicia said. "I think Paul would be really proud the organization has continued and his family is so involved. I can't think of anything more fitting for them to be doing to honor Paul on this day."

In addition to his family members, Paul's former co-star, Tyrese Gibson, commemorated his "brother" with an Instagram post in his memory.

"It's still not easy...... 2 years ago today... We lost our brother..... Today I'm just gonna lay low and process..... Clarity through Prayers and perspective is what I always seek and pray for," Gibson captioned a photo of the pair posed together. "With a heavy heart I post this..... Please continue to pray for the Walker family and his real friends who was with him every single day.... They're some of the best and strongest people I know...... I know you're in heaven smiling and rooting for us all..... #RIH ( Rest in heaven)."

Despite the difficult feelings conjured by such an anniversary, Felicia asserts community service is the perfect way to honor the actor's legacy.

"I think the family would want him to be remembered for what he was doing on the day he passed—spreading good will," Felicia told E! News. In just a few more days, the family will be participating in the annual Winter Drive held on Dec. 5.

"Especially during this time of year—put good will out there, do good."
