There's a new way to get your Snapchat videos seen by more people.

Snapchat Stories allow users to share photo and video snaps that last for 24 hours. They can have a narrative, like your experience going to a One Direction concert, or they can be all over the place, while you're going about your day.

Now with Snapchat's Story Explorer, which is being launched first in New York and Los Angeles, users can watch Snapchat Live Stories of something happening in their area and can swipe up to see more perspectives from that moment.

According to Snapchat's announcement, this will let users explore what's happening at fun events or when breaking news happens.

So, if something amazing happens at a red carpet premiere in Hollywood, you can see multiple takes, all curated from different users who caught that moment.

You know, like Jennifer Lawrence taking a tumble or Carrie Underwood stepping out in a daring ensemble.

More angles of a winning shot and celebration at a game, different reactions at a news event, multiple vantage points at a music festival... if you're snapping something cool in your city, more users can see your stuff as it's curated into a live story.

So, residents of New York and Los Angeles with awesome social lives: get on out there are start snapping the things that people want to see. If Snapchat chooses your snaps to include in their live stories, they could be watched by a ton of people in your city.

We'll take as many angles of Harry Styles on stage as we can get, please.
