Ladies and gentlemen, we finally have an answer to one of Hollywood's greatest mysteries.

Bette Midler was kind enough to spend part of her Tuesday afternoon answering fans' questions on Facebook. Lo and behold, one of the first questions asked was whether or not there will be a Hocus Pocus 2.

So, are we ready to hear the answer? Drumroll please…

"After all these years and all the fan demand, I do believe I can stand and firmly say an unequivocal no," Midler told one follower during the chat. While the comment received more than 215 likes, we're betting that it wasn't because fans approved of the answer. Instead, it's finally closure to a rumor that has picked up some steam in recent months.

Just days before Halloween, Midler joked about why there has been such a long wait.

".@kathynajimy .@SJP Breaking news!! SEQUEL DELAYED!!" she tweeted. "@Disney having trouble finding a virgin! #HocusPocus."

Although a sequel has never officially been announced, Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy have all expressed interest in coming back together for a follow-up. Unfortunately, a reboot of the unforgettable 1993 Disney movie doesn't appear to be in the cards anytime soon.

For those who missed out on the Facebook Q&A, we assure you that it wasn't just about possible Hocus Pocus sequels.

One of her favorite movie roles took place in The Rose. She happens to hate "My Knight in Black Leather" from her album Thighs and Whispers.

And as for a possible duet with Justin Bieber, let's just say never say never.

"I think he's terrific," Midler shared after poking fun at the singer on more than one occasion. "He thinks I'm someone called Brett Meddler."
