Grey's Anatomy

We never thought we'd say this after everything that happened last season, but we are fully back on the Grey's Anatomy train. Every episode this season so far has been on par with some of the earlier episodes of the show, not overwrought with petty drama and filled with interesting medical cases that we actually weirdly care about.

When Callie and Jackson found the hand bones in the those tumors on that adorable little boy, we were cheering along with April and her hot military friend, and we felt for both Mer and Penny as Penny's first day at Grey Sloane could not have been worse for everyone involved, including their clergyman patient who had accidentally released a homemade sex tape for all the world to see.

We're also just really into Meredith's journey as we compare present day, jaded, widowed, boss Meredith to intern Meredith of season one. She's still kind of struggling to grasp the fact that the world will not bend to her will, and she still, after everything she's gone through, needs to get over herself a little.

Well done, Grey's. Can't wait to see what kind of tragedies await us this season.

So, like, some other things happened during Scandal but nothing as insane as WHEN ELIZABETH AND DAVID MADE OUT IN HIS OFFICE. And it was a sexy makeout too. Weirdest couple ever? We're going to have to wait until next week to get more on the repercussions of that, but wow, did not see that one coming.

Elsewhere in the episode, Olivia took on a case involving a male feminist icon who was accused of drugging and raping scores of his students throughout his career, leading them to take a stand against him in a very public manner. Jake wasn't too pleased with the fact that Rowan is out of jail, and Fitz apologized to the American people. But that kiss, though…

"It's him."

What does it mean?! Annalise finally admitted that Wes is more than just "some student," right before another makeout session with Eve. Eve herself also proved once again that she and Annalise might be made for each other by faking the results of Nate's wife's autopsy to show no trace of the drugs Nate gave her to help her die.

Elsewhere in the past, Asher tried to explain that he was not involved in the Trotter Lake gang rape, but eventually admitted that he could have stopped it, or at least reported it, and failed to do either, which did not please Bonnie.

She was further enraged to hear what Annalise had told Asher about Bonnie's experience with sexual assault, and confronted Annalise about having ruined the one good thing in her life. (Could Bonnie have shot Annalise?! We wouldn't be surprised if Bonnie murdered everyone at this point.)

Meanwhile, Oliver set Connor up on a date with potential serial killer Phillip, only to find himself confronted by Philip in his apartment later on.

In the flash forwards, back at the mansion, Wes and his handgun were going to stop Michaela and Connor from doing something, only to be surprised by a body falling from where Bonnie looked down at them from one of the many balconies, and all we have to say is that we've never been so interested in what is going on on this show.

We've also never been quite so overwhelmed by how many pieces there are in this puzzle, but we can literally not wait to see them all finally fit together in two weeks when Annalise's murderer is finally revealed.

At this point, we're thinking that perhaps one of the Keating five shot Annalise as they all finally realized that she's not doing such great things for them, their careers, or their moral compasses. She's also pretty wrapped up in her own s--t, and has given them nothing but trouble.

Oh, and Philip? If you touch one hair on sweet little Oliver's head, we WILL get very angry on Twitter.
