Khloe Kardashian has no time for haters as she continues to support Lamar Odom, who remains hospitalized after suffering a drug overdose.

The 31-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star took to Twitter on Wednesday to fire back at people who criticized her over a People cover story published that day, in which she is quoted as talking about the former NBA star. In what marked her first interview since Odom's hospitalization, she told the magazine that she wants "to be his support system" and that while their divorce has been called off, they have not actually gotten back together.

"I want to make this VERY clear...My People cover, I shot and interviewed for PRIOR to all the events that happened," Khloe tweeted. "It was contracted press for my book that I wrote months and months ago. Timing is what it is."

"Shame on you all for thinking the worst of me. It's been a tough few weeks. I don't need your f--ked up energy!" she added. "Know the facts before you throw stones. I had to do a follow up 5 minute phoner after the events only because I was contracted to."

The reality star, who wed Odom in 2009, had flocked to the basketball player's side when he was hospitalized earlier this month, after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel, and helped manage his medical care. Odom, 35, spoke to her briefly after coming out of an almost three-day coma. Khloé accompanied him as he was flown to a Los Angeles hospital, where he is currently being treated.

E! News recently learned Odom has a "super long road ahead" as he continues his treatment.

Khloe had canceled a planned tour to promote her first solo book, Strong Looks Better Naked, which is set for release on Nov. 3.

"I cancelled my book tour to avoid this attention," she tweeted.

"To the ones who uplift and send love....I love you more!" she added. "I appreciate the support. Have a great day babies! Kisses and hugs."
