First Kim Zolciak-Bierrman, now Alek Skarlatos? Is this season of Dancing With the Stars cursed? E! News has confirmed Alek, the Army veteran and Paris train hero, suffered an injury while rehearsing for tonight's live show. Whether or not he'll be able to dance is still up in the air, we hear they're waiting for the doctor to give the final word.

Alek, who is normally partnered with Lindsay Arnold on Dancing With the Stars, had his partner switched up for this week and is set to dance with professional dancer Emma Slater. So far his dances have been receiving scores in the mid to low 20s.

"Thank you for being my partner this week @alekskarlatos, I'm so excited for our dance today!#RumbaWithOregonTourguide #DWTS," Emma posted on Instagram earlier today.

The Knights of the Legion of Honour (France's highest honor) recipient's competitor, Don't Be Tardy reality star Kim, had to bow out of the competition after suffering a mini stroke. Kim did not receive doctor's clearance to fly to Los Angeles from Atlanta and was disqualified. She later revealed to E! News she is going to undergo heart surgery.

Alek made headlines when he and two buddies helped take down a gunman on a Paris-bound train.

Stay tuned for more updates on Alek.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays, 8 p.m. on ABC.
