Joe Giudice Reveals Family Holiday Plans for When Teresa Returns Home From Prison—Watch Now

Real Housewives of New Jersey star also looks forward to along time with his wife

If there's one thing fans know about the Giudice family, it's the simple fact that they love to celebrate the holidays.

So perhaps it should come as no surprise that Joe Giudice is already thinking ahead about this year's holiday season that will have Teresa Giudice back home from her prison sentence.

"We got the holidays. We're probably going to take a trip or two with the family," he shared with E! News exclusively from his New Jersey home. "I'd stay in the states, [maybe] some island close by."

As for Christmas, Joe doesn't want to put too much pressure on his wife. After all, she will only have a few days to prepare for the special day that will likely include a "big family dinner."

"We're basically going to keep it small and just chill out," he shared. "Whatever she wants to do when she comes home."

He continued, "Just being out is going to be a relief in itself and it's a couple of days right before Christmas…I'm sure she's just going to want to get organized and do whatever she wants to do."

Holidays aside, Joe is looking forward to not sleeping in his bedroom alone any longer. After teaching his four daughters to rest in their own bed, the Bravo star can't help but get excited about some alone time with his wife.

"Now I don't have to worry about the kids sleeping in my bedroom anymore or mommy sleeping with them," he shared. "That's all over. It's done with."

As to the moment when Teresa walks through the doors for the first time since her prison sentence, Joe has a few words he wants his wife to hear. "It's good to have you home," he shared.
