Where does your loyalty lie?

Reign is shaking things up in a major way in season three, which kicks off tonight at 9 p.m. on the CW. The show will now focus on its two courts--the French and the English--as well as its two dueling queens. While fans have spent two seasons getting to know and falling in love with Mary (Adelaide Kane), they will also get to know Queen Elizabeth, played by Fifty Shades of Grey star Rachel Skarsten.

Of course, that one scene in the finale was purely an appetizer, and E! News has your exclusive first taste of the main course in the sneak peek from the premiere above. And guess who she is in cahoots with?

The CW

None other than Queen Catherine (Megan Follows), who was banished from French Court by Francis (Toby Regbo) and Mary last season. Looking to work together to overthrow Mary, Catherine proposes a bold idea: She wants Elizabeth to marry her other son, Charles...even though Elizabeth may or may not already be involved with someone.

How does Elizabeth react to this strategic move? Press play on the exclusive clip above to find out.

Fans have waited a long time to finally meet Elizabeth, whose introduction has been teased since the series began. But will we ever see the two queens (and cousins) interact on the show? That's TBD, but we definitely see the two courts crossover in some way.

"Obviously, they're a sea part from one another, but you will see some travel back and forth," showrunner Laurie McCarthy teases. "We will see some cross-pollination between the two courts."

Reign returns tonight at 8 p.m. on the CW.
