Prince William is a royal hero!

The Duke of Cambridge and his air ambulance team helped rescue a young girl involved in a major car accident in the town of Leighton Buzzard, the BBC reports.

The 9-year-old was airlifted to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge shortly after William and his co-workers arrived to the scene of the crash, and she is said to currently be in critical condition after suffering from a broken pelvis and broken legs.

According to British outlets, the young girl was walking down the street when two cars collided on the sidewalk—subsequently running into her and one of her friends.

The second girl involved in the accident is said to have received minor injuries from the incident, but was not taken to the hospital.

Local authorities are asking that anyone who witnessed the accident please contact police.

This isn't the first time that Kate Middleton's husband has saved lives, either.

In fact, back in August the 33-year-old helped rescue a man who was shot in the stomach in Suffolk.

William and his colleagues dropped medics off at the scene of the crime before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital.

Nicely done, Wills!
