With just four days until the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards, host Andy Samberg is almost ready to take the stage.
"I'm feeling really good, man, it's going well," the 37-year-old Brooklyn Nine-Nine star told E! News at the 67th Emmy Awards Preview Day on Wednesday. "We're writing up a storm and we have shot a couple of pre-tapes, so we're editing and I feel good about it all."
Asked how edgy he can be with the Emmys audience, Samberg replied, "Less than on SNL and probably about the same as on Brooklyn Nine-Nine."
While the comedian's first Emmys promo teased a NSFW performance, Samberg insisted to E! News that he's been instructed to keep the show G-rated.
"I'm comfortable with the material. We were told early on no bleeps or blurbs. Generally I never bring up 'D--k in a Box,'" he said, dropping the hit Lonely Island tune and SNL skit. "But everyone always asks me if I'm going to do it again. I already did it—I'm never doing it again."
Well, now that's settled, will there be any celeb cameos?
"There will be some," he dished, staying mum on any names. "I mean there's so many funny comedy people that are going to be there just because they are nominated…so, yeah, we're definitely going to be incorporating a lot of funny people and make it a big family party."
