Prince Harry knows he missed a very important day in Princess Charlotte's life.

In fact, the bachelor feels so bad that he couldn't attend his niece's christening ceremony, he's still giving himself a hard time almost two months later.

"What a bad uncle I am!" he joked to a Save the Rhino ranger, via Hello!. "I should really be there. But today I am here, this is where I want to be."

The 30-year-old royal family member has been hard at work volunteering in Namibia since June where he has been working on the effort to protect lions, elephants and rhinos from poachers. Before that, he was visiting Australia and New Zealand, which meant he also missed the birth of Prince William's second child.

His busy schedule ultimately resulted in him not meeting his niece until she was three weeks old. The meet-and-greet took place at Prince William and Kate Middleton's 10-bedroom home in Norfolk, England.

Between Prince George and the arrival of Princess Charlotte, could Prince Harry see himself having kids anytime soon? His answer may surprise you.

"There comes times when you think now is the time to settle down, or now is not, whatever way it is, but I don't think you can force these things. It will happen when it's going to happen," he told Sky News. "Of course I would love to have kids right now, but there's a process that one has to go through."

He added, "Hopefully I'm doing all right by myself. It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure. But, you know, time will come and whatever happens, happens."

And as for his big brother's title as a father, Prince Harry couldn't be more thrilled at his current reality.

"It's fantastic news for both of them," he share. "So I'm thrilled."
