Ashlee Simpson stepped out on Wednesday in Los Angeles for the first time since giving birth to daughter Jagger Snow Ross, her first child with husband Evan Ross.
The 30-year-old beauty, who is also a mom to 6-year-old Bronx from her first marriage to Pete Wentz, looked gorgeous in a black dress teamed with fancy sky-high heels. The mother of two wore her blond hair down in her signature bohemian style and added bold red lips for a pop of color.
Simpson and Ross enjoyed a night out without their newborn baby in honor of the Hunger Games star's 27th birthday. They were joined by a number of pals, including Evan's older sister Tracee Ellen Ross, at Matsuhisa sushi restaurant in Beverly Hills.
It's been just less than a month since Simpson gave birth to her baby girl, and the adorable couple is loving parenthood.
"Ashlee and Evan couldn't be happier," a source told us last week. "Right up until Ashlee gave birth Evan was playing shows quite frequently, working hard on his album, but since Jagger was born he's put his music on hold and has been spending most of his time with Ashlee and the newborn. Only family and a few friends have seen Jagger but they say she's adorable."
Ashlee and Evan wed almost one year ago at the estate of Evan's mother, legendary singer Diana Ross, 71, who also officiated the ceremony.
"I've never met a person in my life that makes me feel, you know, so content and supportive of what I'm doing and I'm supportive of what she's doing and two creative people that just want to be creative around each other, it's brilliant," Ross told E! News. "We understand each other and we care about the same things and we look out for each other the same kind of way."
