Meet Agnes Hedengård. She's a 19-year-old Swedish model with piercing blue eyes, mesmerizing features and an extremely thin frame—yet the industry thinks she's "too big."

The blond beauty, who explains that she worked as a model for roughly five years now, recorded a YouTube video to make people aware of the harsh body ideals surrounding the modeling industry. In the vide, she revealed that she hasn't been able to get any gigs because agencies and clients think she's not slim enough.

Oh, and FYI—Agnes is 5-foot-11 and has a Body Mass Index of 17.5. A "normal" BMI for women ranges from 18.5 to 25.

"Up to this day, I don't get any more jobs because the industry thinks I'm too big," she says in the video. "They think my butt is too big and they think my hips are too wide, so according to the model industry, you cannot look like this. You need to be thinner."

Agnes goes on to state that big-time clients (no specific names were mentioned) would express interest in working with her, but then the deal would fall through once they got her measurements.

It's no secret that the industry seems to be breaking away from the traditional body ideal as of late, by branching out and using models of varying body types, but it's clear we still have a long way to go.

"My purpose of this video is to show everyone that a big part of the model industry think that this is too big, you should not look like this. it's absurd and I hate it. And I just want other people to see this," Agnes continued. "But love yourself, don't let anyone tell you any different."

And we think the proper way to end this story is with a silent message to all of the body shamers, by way of one of Agnes' selfies...
