It was the trailer release heard 'round the world! Sort of.

After attendees at Comic Con were buzzing about the sneak peek to the new Suicide Squad trailer over the weekend (and a casual leak of a bootleg version), Warner Brothers was forced to decided to offer up the trailer to the rest of the public. And while it's certainly garnering a whole lot of buzz, it may not be exactly the buzz filmmakers were looking for.

The trailer gives the audience good long looks at Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, as well as Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman and even what might be Ben Affleck. But it also gives the audience something else: Nightmares. The movie first look takes on a decidedly creepy tone (complete with even creepier soundtrack), and it's one that isn't sitting too well with more than a few fans.

So what's the problem exactly? It seems that the audience just doesn't really know what the heck is going on. It's worth noting that filming barely wrapped before this first-look trailer was put together, but leave it to Twitter not to give a filmmaker a break. There are also seriously mixed feelings about Leto's Joker—following up Heath Ledger was never going to be easy.

That being said, there's also a sizable portion or movie watchers who are choosing to look on the bright side. And they're psyched for DC Comic action. But first, let's look at the naysayers.

Not to be outdone when it comes to hyperbole, we now give you The Positive Peeps. (Yes, that is their official name).

And then there were the folks with sentiments just as wacky as the movie itself. Nothing brings out the weirdos like, well, weirdos!
