One of Hollywood's most beloved couples headed to Italy last week to attend a Vampire Diaries fan convention. But in between reminiscing with fans, Somerhalder managed to enjoy some free time with his beautiful new wife.
According to our source, the two spent part of their trip in a village in Italy called Positano where they were spotted being very affectionate with one another.
"They were very sweet and passionate," a source revealed to E! News. "You could tell there is a real feeling between them."
While staying at the luxurious Hotel Le Sirenuse, the two sunbathed on the hotel balcony where they cuddled, kissed and watched the view together. They also made time to explore local restaurants with a group of friends.
"They looked happy and animated as they were chatting away and enjoying the local red wine," an eyewitness shared with E! News. The twosome has since left Positano for Rome, where they will board an airplane home.
Ever since saying "I Do" this past April in the beautiful mountains of Santa Monica, Calif., the Hollywood pair has taken full advantage of their new status as husband and wife.
Shortly after their ceremony, the couple headed to South America for a tropical and relaxing honeymoon.
"Thank you to this beautiful country: it's land and its people," Somerhalder shared after his visit. "Thank you to this beautiful woman who makes every day a dream come true. Pura Vida."
They would also show off their love back home at the 2015 CMT Music Awards. "I love this human. My human," Reed recently wrote on Instagram while sharing a kiss with her man. Pretty cute if you ask us!
