Slow your horses, people.

Mariah Carey and James Packer's whirlwind romance may be heating up, but these two aren't planning to walk down the aisle together any tiime soon, despite reports claiming otherwise.

A source close to the singer tells E! News, "They are not talking marriage. That's ridiculous. She's enjoying his company, but she's also trying to remain cautious. This trip is a chance for her to really get to know him. She hasn't 100 percent let him in yet."

That said, "she's having a lot of fun being courted. It's very different than when Nick [Cannon] was wooing her. To her, Nick was a boy. James is a man."

Another insider echoes similar sentiments, telling us, "Marriage is not in the cards just yet but they have been very close since they met. They are not in any rush and are still in the process of getting to know each other."

The second source adds, "They get along amazingly and their communication is always fluid and easy. James is very into Mariah, though, and he wants to spoil her and her children every minute he can. He feels she only deserves the best."

"James has been speaking to his family and friends back in Australia allot about Mariah. This is just the beginning of their relationship and they are both excited about what possibly can be ahead for them in the future. Mariah friends and family just want her to be happy and feel special again."

Regardless of enjoying her time with her new beau, Mariah's focus remains on other things at the moment.

"Mariah is all about taking care of herself these days: her focus is Vegas, her kids and downtime," one source tells us, while another also notes, "She is hitting the gym hard and feeling healthy is her personal No. 1 priority, besides her children of course."

The Australian billionaire and soulful singer began making headlines over the weekend when they were spotted hanging out together in Capri, but judging from what we're hearing, it seems like we'll be seeing a lot more of these two lovebirds.
