FKA twigs and Robert Pattinson didn't want to broadcast their engagement news, but they couldn't stop T-Pain from telling the world!

The bride-to-be spoke with Complex shortly after the rapper blew up "Ol' Patty's" spot (in T-Pain's defense, he did backtrack and try and pull his verbal diarrhea off as an April Fools' joke), and as the interviewer notes, twigs seemed "genuinely sad" about the way her and Rob's joyful news went public without their consent.

She wasn't angry, though, telling the mag, "It's fine, I'm a pretty chill person, do you know what I mean?"

Understandably, though, the "Glass & Patron" singer has found herself "genuinely shocked and disgusted" by the racist social media attacks aimed at her, some of which have been attributed to Rob's fans. "It is pretty horrible," she told Complex. "But ultimately, I'm in an amazing relationship. So it doesn't matter."

At one point during twigs' interviews with the mag, her future hubby answered the door. However, R.Pattz wasn't a topic she was eager to talk about. That's because the British beauty tries to keep the details of her personal life private.

Dealing with the media is admittedly not one of her favorite parts of the job. "If this is what being an artist is, I'm not really sure this is for me," she told Complex. "This [the press cycle] is horrific. I could be doing dance class right now."

Of course, twigs is thankful for her career success. "I haven't had an easy life at all, but everything seems to be working out," she said. "I'm so grateful for that, because at times, especially when I was a teenager, I just couldn't see how things could ever get better, or how I'd ever be able to do this. I don't know what I thought I'd be doing. I'd always worked hard at music and at dancing, but I never thought I'd get the opportunity to be doing this, and have the belief of people to give me a budget to make a video...These things are incredible."
