Juicy J was rushed to a San Francisco hospital late Saturday for exhaustion and had to cancel his performance at the last-minute. The "Shell Shocked" rapper, who was born Jordan Michael Houston, announced the news on his Twitter page in a series of tweets and subsequently posted a photo of himself in the hospital on Instagram.

"I wanna apologize to my fans in San Fran I had to rush to the hospital I'm having shortness of breath I love you all pray for me," he tweeted. He followed up with his hospital bed selfie, which he captioned, "The Dr said I'm Exhausted I haven't been getting enough rest but I'll be ok San Fran my Apologies i will make it up #THCTOUR still going strong."

After a night in the hospital, Juicy J was able to regain some strength and continue his tour Sunday. As he said in another Instagram photo of a poster for his Sunday performance, "The show must go on."

He also added that he was "feeling a lot better" but needed "to take it easy" before resuming his The Hustle Continues tour. In addition to promising to make it up to his San Francisco fans, he also assured his followers that he would treat them to something special as a result of his last-minute cancellation: a new song!

"Thank you to everyone that checked on me I'm doing great!!!  Imma drop a new song today I recorded on my tour bus," he tweeted.

The rapper and Project Pat went on to perform a successful show in Boise, Idaho, and were continuing their tour in Seattle.
