The Furious 7 actor surprised comedian—and superfan—Nick Mundy of Screen Junkies during his very special day.
In fact, The Rock didn't just swing by the nuptials and pose for a few photos, no, the former professional wrestler actually officiated the wedding!
Mundy was completely caught off guard by the exciting celeb run-in, as he was made to believe that Johnson was showing up to interview him during the San Andreas junket.
Mundy and Johnson go way back, OK, maybe not way back, but the two did have a fairly awkward encounter during the press junket for Furious 7.
It turns out that Mundy asked him to be his best man during their last meeting, which Johnson politely declined at the time.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the groom gushed about his fandom and how honored he was to have Johnson be a part of his wedding day.
"My first thought was, Oh, s--t. I hope Dilara is cool with this.' The second one was, 'I have hat hair, I'm sweating and wearing American flag pants.'"
He continued, "And then my best man and writing partner threw my jacket on me, and the next thing I know, The Rock was walking me down the aisle and the music was starting and I signed the marriage license. The whole thing was insane."
