The star made her first red carpet appearance at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in a sexy Azzedine Alaïa black crop top and ball skirt combo (all the better to twirl in, but more on that later). And you better believe that Kendall's midriff-baring top gave us a peek at her swimwear-ready abs (not that we haven't seen them before, oh, you know, for Calvin Klein and Karl Lagerfeld).
The star's voluminous black skirt, which features sheer illusion panels, is perfect for taking a spin in, as Kendall proved when she gave us a good few twirls on the carpet. (The Cannes red carpet twirl, by the way, is a move straight out of Oscar-winning actress' Lupita Nyong'o's playbook. Great minds...)
Kendall also posted a shot of her 2015 Cannes red carpet debut to Instagram, writing simply, "I had fun #Cannes."
This isn't the model's first crop top moment during her trip (we're sensing a pattern already): She was spotted earlier this morning in a white eyelet top and airy gray Sally LaPointe skirt before taking to the red carpet.
Goes without mentioning (well, almost) that Kendall arrived to the South of France looking highly chic too—we first saw her cruising through the Nice airport in a pale pink Camilla and Marc ensemble with rose-gold Sophia Webster heels.
