The couple of the night has arrived!
Amal Clooney and George Clooney have made their debut Met Gala appearance, and boy, they did not disappoint. Mrs. Clooney stepped out on the carpet in a tiered, crimson-hued Maison Margiela Couture gown by John Galliano featuring a sequin-covered bodice (so pretty much solidifying her style icon of the moment status). George, meanwhile, sported a traditional black Armani tuxedo with a long tail (seriously, the actor is as dapper as it gets).
This isn't the first time this beautiful pair has blown us away on the red carpet: In January, they made their Golden Globes red carpet debut as the picture of black and white: Amal paired her Dior Haute Couture gown with statement-making white gloves and a white clutch (also by Dior).
Their first public appearance together, at the Celebrity Fight Night Gala in Florence, Italy last September, proved to be just as head-turning as their arrival to the Met Gala. Amal donned a strapless black gown with an iridescent panel down the back (and virtually solidified herself as one to always watch on the red carpet).
We have, of course, been longtime admirers of Mrs. Clooney style—particularly her street-chic looks, which are the perfect mesh of modern prints and classic silhouettes reminiscent of Jackie O.
With this latest sartorial win under her already very impressive belt, we expect that there's more stunning style to come from Mrs. Clooney.
Tell us: How much are you loving Amal's look?
