Dannielynn Birkhead sure is one darling daughter!

As hundreds of fans placed their bets for their favorite horses Saturday afternoon at the Kentucky Derby, the famous daughter of the late Anna Nicole Smith simply wanted to enjoy a special day with her dad Larry Birkhead.

Keeping with tradition, the pair stepped onto the red carpet at Churchill Downs where they looked their best for a day of races.

At just eight years old, Dannielynn wore a pink Monsoon dress with a floral headband and sandals. She completed her look with a silver bag with pink roses. Meanwhile, Larry stepped out in a pink suit to match his daughter perfectly.

"Awesome Barnstable-Brown Kentucky Derby party. #southernhospitality" he tweeted Saturday evening after a fun-filled day.

For the father-daughter duo, the Derby holds a special place in their hearts. In addition to living in the state, Larry first met Anna Nicole at a Kentucky Derby party in May of 2004. The actress and model would later give birth to a baby girl in September 2006.

While the memory of Anna Nicole still lives on in their hearts—pink was in fact her favorite color—the pair continues to share stories about their family member.

"I have told her from a young age, ‘Mom's in heaven,' she understands that," Larry explained to E! News. "She's pretty satisfied with the stories that I give her at this moment."

And for now, Larry appears to be focused on just one special lady in his life. That's right, he's not focused on dating at the moment.

"The thing is, he's the most sweetest, most wonderful man. I call him Care Bear," Patti Stanger told E! News before Larry appeared on Millionaire Matchmaker. "He took care of his entire extended family in his house, shrine, daughter. Where was [his] time to date?!"
