Meeting your date's parents can be tough in any situation. But what happens when they turn out to be Tim McGraw and Faith Hill?!

To the delight of any hopeful guys out there, the country superstars aren't too intimidating at all when their daughters introduce them to a special someone.

"No, I'm not too tough. I mean, I have a sledgehammer. I want it to be visceral," he joked on Friday's all-new Rachael Ray Show. "No, I'm not that tough. I mean, I try to act like I am, but I just want them to be happy."

Come on, Tim! Meeting your wife has to be a little nerve-racking at least, right?

"No, she's pretty sweet, actually…She's sweet to the guys," he told Rachael Ray. "They like her. They like her better than me, of course."

The proud parents recently brought their three daughters—who range in age from 13 to 18—out to the Time 100 Gala in New York City. Before posing for family pictures, McGraw couldn't help but acknowledge how much they have grown.

"They are growing up so fast," he told E! News. "It's good to just do some cool things together."

As his kids turn into fine young women, McGraw can at least count on his wife to be by his side. In fact, the country hunk can look forward to some pretty impressive presents from his leading lady every birthday.

During Friday's show, the "Live Like You Were Dying" crooner recalled his first dates with Hill that included his 1971 Cutlass. In a sweet surprise for his 40th birthday, his wife decided to give the special ride a twist.

"She took that car and she had it redone for me," he gushed. We just don't like it. We love it!
