Alan Rickman secretly married his longtime partner Rima Horton. The super-secret nuptials actually took place about three years ago, their reps confirm to E! News. The happy couple finally decided to tie the knot after over 40 years together. Talk about commitment!
News of the wedding broke when the 69-year-old Harry Potter actor spilled the beans to German newspaper Bild.
"We are married. Just recently," Rickman confessed. "It was great, because no one was there. After the wedding in New York we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and ate lunch."
Too cute.
Rickman added that Horton didn't want a big diamond wedding ring. Instead, he gifted her with a simple $200 band that, according to Rickman, "she never wears."
Rickman and Horton have reportedly lived together since 1977!
