BREAKING NEWS: Just because it's on the Internet doesn't mean it's accurate.

Bless Lindsay Lohan, her heart was in the right place, but unfortunately, her plan didn't exactly work out. The actress took to Instagram to post what she thought would be a positive note to all of her followers, without double-checking that the message she was sending was the actual message written.

LiLo posted Arabic script with "You're beautiful" written out underneath. So sweet, right? Totes. Except the Arabic script actually translates to "You're an ass."

Oopsie! (According to our sources, the script literally reads as "you're a donkey," with the context of telling someone they're an ass. Just FYI.)

Users were quick to let Lohan know of her slip-up in the comments of her IG photo, but either the actress hasn't caught wind of her language boo-boo just yet or doesn't care. Either way, it's kind of hilarious and we're grateful for the laugh.

This hasn't been the first time Lindsay's followers found themselves questioning the actress' upload.

While posting a snapshot on Instagram taken at the famed Plaza Anthénée hotel in Paris last month, the actress admitted to cropping out her feet for a reason but doesn't acknowledge the disarmingly curvaceous portion of the door behind her left thigh. "Um, is there a photoshop situation happening?" is what many asked themselves after seeing the pic.

"My feet look red lol- had to take that out. Only real red is my hair," Lohan captioned the otherwise cute pic of herself in which she's flaunting her bare legs in a black leotard, but didn't mention the strange situation happening with her booty and that pesky door.

However, a rep for Lohan told E! News at the time, "I assure you Lindsay has not tampered with the photo. Nothing more than a filter or use of the upload program (as stated on the image in question) used to upload her candid."

Instagram can be a tricky, tricky thing.
