Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones' marriage is back on track.

The famous couple took "some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage" beginning in May 2013. Though they lived separately for months, by year's end, the Academy Award-winning actress returned to the family's New York City apartment. The two continued to work on their marriage, and on Thursday, Douglas revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that he and Zeta-Jones have officially reconciled.

"I love that you and Catherine worked things out. I know you had a little separation and I think that's a great message to send to people, that even if you have trouble, you can get through it," DeGeneres said.

The actor said it only works "if both of you are willing you know to do it. It can't be a one-way street. I'm crazy about her...I think every couple has their difficult times. The only problem is, as you well know, we're all in the public eye and it tends to get a little more exposed than most. But we're back, stronger than ever."

The Ellen DeGeneres Show host replied, "I'm happy to hear that."

Douglas also thanked DeGeneres' crew, who reminded him that his fifteenth wedding anniversary is approaching later this year. "I said, 'No, my fourteenth wedding anniversary,' and they were very polite and said, 'I think it's your fifteenth wedding anniversary.' I said, 'No.' I went, 'Oh my goodness! It is my fifteenth anniversary! So, thank you very much for that" he said.

The talk show host is happy to help the 70-year-old Ant-Man actor stay out of the doghouse. "Whatever you need. If you need to know your anniversary date, if you need to know her birthday, we can help you out," DeGeneres said.

"Whatever you need," she reiterated. "We'll send you an alert on your phone!"
