OMG, y'all—Reese Witherspoon's revisiting her Sweet Home Alabama days...in New York City?

Indeed, the Southern superstar stopped by Tiffany's flagship location on Fifth Avenue Wednesday, and while she was in the store, they recreated the 2002 movie scene where Patrick Dempsey's character proposed!

It's been a good 13 years since Sweet Home Alabama hit theaters, but this rom-com hasn't lost any of its charm. Reese, 39, Instagrammed a photo of a suit-wearing gentleman down on one knee (not Patrick, but still a dude proposing) with diamonds all around.

"Um. This just happened," wrote the mother of three. "@Tiffanyandco just surprised me with a #SweetHomeAlabama moment in NYC??!! Where magical moments happen. #Pinchme #NotYourAverageWednesday !!"

Too cute, right? Patrick's onscreen proposal was the most romantic one money could buy, and Reese (aka Melanie Carmichael aka Melanie Smooter) hesitantly said yes, but there was a divorce down South she had to finalize first! (No complaining about spoilers, y'all—it's been a decade and this happens in like the first 20 minutes.)

In the movie, though, Reese made her way back to the Heart of Dixie, where her estranged hubby (played by Josh Lucas) was ready to give her some grief. Here, hometown drama and Southern shenanigans make for some rom-com gold (not to mention the line, "You have a baby...in a bar!"), and Reese gets back to her roots. (If somehow you haven't seen Sweet Home Alabama yet, don't worry: Reruns air like every other weekend.)

Reese has another movie role taking her back down South again soon: Hot Pursuit! In this upcoming flick, due out May 8, she finds herself in Texas (it's a different South, but it's still the South) as Sofía Vergara's parole officer.

Hey, you can take a girl out of the South...
