Whoa, mama!

Here's a side (literally) of Cobie Smulders that you may have never seen before. The How I Met Your Mother alum bared some serious skin for the cover of Women's Heath May issue where she playfully posed topless, wearing nothing but a pair of tiny denim shorts and her killer smile.

And if you can manage to take your eyes off of her sexy side boob, you'd realize that Smulders is rockin' one seriously smokin' bod—and she just gave birth a few months ago!

Along with a series of stunning photographs, Cobie talked about her return to social media, advice she'd give her younger self and so much more.

"I have an Instagram account, I have a Twitter account. I didn't post for awhile, but I'm recently back," she explains. "I find that it is a major time suck. At the time that I took a bit of a break, I was shooting a movie in Chicago and I was on it all the time. I find that you're not present when you're attached to those things.

"You're always thinking about ‘Oh, that would be a great picture for Instagram,' or ‘Let's see what's going on in these people's lives' and it was just taking up too much of my energy and too much of my time. So I took a break. Now I'm on it a little bit. It is a nice way to get information about the world. When I went back on, I was like ‘Oh, wow! I didn't realize this, I didn't know this happened.' But my mind needed a little bit break from it."

But she doesn't exactly use social media for the sole purpose of seeing what everybody's up to. It's more of an artistic outlet for the star.

"I don't read a lot on it. I don't read Twitter at all really. I'm a much more visual person, so I'm drawn to Instagram a bit more. I love photography, so I do follow a lot of very artistic, creative people that have more of an inspiring thing for me. I dance a little bit with social media.

"I'm also like a grandmother when it comes to technology. I went back on it and I was like 'Ah, I don't know how to do anything! I'm quoting it wrong and I don't know how to do anything!' That's also a factor in my distance from it."

So Cobie's Twitter feed may not be filled with 140-character nuggest of wisdom to her followers, but she does share some advice she'd give her younger self that might be helpful for her fans as well: Relax.

"Just chill the F out," the actress states. "When you're young, you're so worried. I think I was in such a rush to grow up. I think it's also the film industry; you're always trying to be established and trying get to the next level. I feel like I should've just chilled out, gone back to college for four years and just hung out. Or traveled around the world or something. Just not work so hard.

"But then, it also got me to where I am today, so it's a double-edged sword. But I think I could've probably mellowed out more."

Something else that's important to Smulders? Date night.

"I think date nights are important," the celeb, who is married to SNL's Taran Killam, shares. "Usually a good dinner. A good solid meal with a bottle of wine sounds pretty good to me."

This brunette beauty and mother of two continues to stay busy, and will soon be gracing the big screen for Avengers: Age of Ultron, where she'll reprise her role as Maria Hill.

"I love doing these films. I love working with all of the characters. They have just such amazing people coming in and doing these roles now," Cobie says of coming back for the sequel.
