There's some scary news today for dip lovers.

Sabra, the company behind everybody's favorite hummus, has voluntarily recalled 30,000 containers of the classic flavor. The reason? There's a chance they could be contaminated with Listeria. See, we told you it was scary.

There haven't been any confirmed cases of Listeria yet, but inspectors in Michigan learned about the possibility of contamination last week.

So here's what you need to know. For starters, this recall only applies to the "classic" flavor, and it's limited to certain barcodes. If you have one of these in your fridge, now would be the time to toss it in the trash immediately.

Second, in case you've already housed a container of the recalled dip, you should be aware of the symptoms of Listeria just in case. In short, if you've eaten hummus recently and have a severe headache, nausea or a high fever, you should go straight to the doctor. And definitely don't keep eating the hummus.

If you don't feel any of those things, then continue to keep on snacking away. Although maybe you should try out another brand (or at least another flavor) just to be safe.
