Ever since January Jones gave birth to son Xander back in September 2011, there has been a public fascination with the identity of her child's father, although Jones has never revealed the identity of her mystery baby daddy.

Instead, she has chosen to raise her three-year-old son as a single mom—and has no regrets about her decision.

"I think when I was younger I was keen on having marriage, kids and all that," the actress, who is currently dating her Last Man on Earth co-star Will Forte, tells the latest issue of U.K.'s Marie Claire while look stunning on the cover. "But as I got into my late twenties and early thirties, all my ideals shifted and having a document to prove love wasn't really important to me. It's the relationships that were important, and I still think that way.

"I mean, if someone came along and was obsessed with marrying me, I would think about that," Jones continued. "But growing up, all my family was married and never really got divorced, so marriage was a big deal, it was something you definitely did, so it's not that I'm afraid of it." she said before adding with a laugh, "I just don't need the tax write-off."

While marriage may be on the backburner 37-year-old Mad Men star is focused on her future, admitting she has yet to find her footing in such a fickle business.

"I have yet to feel I can make a living from this," she revealed. "I still feel like they are going to find me out and I won't be able to support my family in five or ten years. There is this insecurity, because this is the job where you put yourself out there to be judged, so we kind of ask for that insecurity."

Despite shying away from the spotlight, Jones has garnered attention for her personal life in the past—raising more than a few eyebrows when she confessed she had her placenta put into capsules to help combat post-partum depression.

"Whenever I felt down, I would take a placenta vitamin and feel better," she shared. "I didn't have a fork and knife and eat it like a steak, I took it with my vitamin C and B12. I don't know if they were a placebo, but they made me feel better. People act like I'm doing some kind of witchcraft."

As for her celebrity crush? That would be none other than Ethan Hawke.

"My biggest crush when I was a little girl," she recalled, noting she fell in love after watching White Fang. "I was weeping and I felt utterly powerless. I wanted to have that power to make people cry or laugh. I just thought that was such a cool thing."
