Vin Diesel is running on very little sleep these days after welcoming baby daughter Pauline just a few weeks ago.
We caught up with the Furious 7 star yesterday at his handprint ceremony in Hollywood to ask him if he's getting caught up on sleep yet. "No! Of course not. Diaper time!" the 47-year-old laughed to E! News.
Diesel announced the birth of Pauline on Mar. 16 with an adorable pic of the newborn. One week later, Diesel revealed he named her Pauline after his late friend and co-star Paul Walker.
"When I was in the delivery room, I said that I felt like Paul was there," Diesel said of Walker. "He was in the room. There's no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. It felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory as a part of my family and a part of my world."
"He went into fatherhood a lot earlier than I did," Diesel added of their friendship. "He took on that role of kind of being the guide into fatherhood for me. It's kind of beautiful."
Meanwhile, we asked Diesel to imagine what it will be like when his daughters are teenagers and start bringing boyfriends around. Surprisingly, Diesel says he's not worried about them dating. "Oh, I won't have to say anything. My six-year-old daughter is an orange belt in Judo and Jiu Jitsu already so my philosophy is you teach them to handle their own," he smiled.
