Jennifer Lopez was caught smooching her ex-boyfriend Casper Smart earlier this week in Los Angeles.

The former duo was seen kissing shortly before J.Lo began taping an episode of American Idol and were reportedly inseparable during most of the day's shooting.

The PDA moment, which comes nine months after the two called it quits, is causing many to wonder whether or not they've gotten back together.

But E! News caught up with Smart just last week at the premiere of Home—where he was supporting Lopez—and the choreographer cleared the air about the recent romance rumors.

"We got a lot of ties. We're very close," he told us. "We're friends. We're very good friends."

Smart added, "I mingle a little bit here and there…but, you know, I'm single."

J.Lo and Smart broke up in June 2014 after about three and a half years together.

Earlier this year, a source told E! News that they were hanging out again but were in no way "getting back together...Sometimes it's hard to say goodbye for good when your lives are so intertwined. And they genuinely like one another. But unlikely they will get back together."

After stopping by The Wendy Williams Show last summer, J.Lo admitted that she's been really into self-help books since her split from Smart.

"I'm a big soul searcher, and I read a lot of, like, self-help books, you know what I mean," the pop superstar divulged. "I am always kinda searching for answers. I'll randomly just open a Bible looking for answers and guidance."

And when asked by Wendy Williams point-blank if she was single, as in "not intimate with anybody at this time," Lopez replied, "Yes, I've been single for a couple of months."
