The human rights lawyer, 37, reportedly had lunch with the magazine's editor in chief Anna Wintour, 65, Tuesday afternoon. Amal and Anna dined at Geoffrey Zakarian's midtown restaurant The Lambs Club, but it's unknown if they discussed a possible cover or feature in a future edition of the publication.

But, according to The New York Post's Page Six, the lunch fueled "speculation that the fashion bible's hatching a feature" on Amal, whose Oscar de la Renta wedding dress fitting was profiled in a 2014 issue.
"They had a nice time," an eyewitness tells E! News. "There was laughter at the table." Neil Patrick Harris was in the restaurant at the same time as the duo but did not join them, the eyewitness adds.
On Tuesday night, Amal wore head-to-toe Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. She left The Monkey Bar solo, but hiding from the paparazzi was hard, given her feathered midriff-baring top and colorful pants.
The London-based lawyer has been spending more time in New York City while her husband, George Clooney, shoots Jodie Foster's movie Money Monster with co-stars Jack O'Connell and Julia Roberts.
Though George is busy on set, a source tells E! News, "Amal has been working during this time as well."
George has been "working long hours," but the according to the source, "Everyone on set really enjoys working with him. He tells funny stories all the time and makes everyone laugh." Amal "has not visited on set yet," per the source, "but they are in touch through phone calls periodically throughout the day."
The couple, who treated George's mother to dinner at Patsy's Italian Restaurant Monday, are more in love than ever. It's been a little less than six months since the couple exchanged wedding vows in Italy, but they still act like honeymooners. "George and Amal are really the sweetest couple," the source tells E! News. "Everyone that meets them really adores them. They are extremely polite and very gracious."
