When Bethenny Frankel looks in the mirror, does she think she's too thin?
"No, but I don't really think about it. I mean, maybe. Do I think I can be sometimes? Yes," the returning Real Housewives of New York City star told Andy Cohen in a Watch What Happens Live special Monday. "When I'm very tired and stressed out, people think I'm more thin, and it's always the times I feel like I'm really stressed out."
"I get black circles and my face looks drawn...Maybe," she added. "I run around like a total maniac."
Cohen also asked Frankel why she once squeezed into her 4-year-old Bryn Hoppy's pajamas.
"The deal was in my house and she said, 'Mommy, put that on.' it was a joke, just like putting on a mask. I thought it was sort of funny," the reality star said of the 2014 controversy. "I didn't realize it was going to be an international news scandal. It was pajama-gate. It was literally George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America talking about it, and Dr. Drew and Meghan McCain. It was crazy. 'It was violently responsible,' I think Meghan McCain said. I couldn't help but think it was...I just never got bothered by it. There'll be bad press things that you'll just be like, 'Do I need this right now?' I of course didn't need it, but it kept getting bigger! I couldn't even believe it."
"I really...I didn't think it was that big of a deal," she added.
Cohen told Frankel, "It really became a dialogue about how thin you are.
"There's always a dialogue about that. Also, when you have a brand called Skinnygirl, I mean, you're looking for it, so come on. So there's always a dialogue about that and a lot of talk about that," she said.
"I'm surprised it doesn't come up on the show," Frankel added.
"It does, actually," Cohen told her.
"Oh, I just don't know about it?" she asked.
"Yeah, you don't," he confirmed. "It's not a big thing, but it's commented on."
"Well, it can become a big thing now," Frankel said, her eyes widening.
