Ryan Phillippe recently made an appearance on the Emmy-nominated series Larry King Now and revealed that he and ex-wife Reese Witherspoon are still good friends.
The Secrets and Lies star says despite their differences, they both prioritize the raising of their two kids. However, he did have some insight on what led to the demise of his marriage with the A-list actress.
"I think more of the problem was age, you know, when we got together so young. I think it can create issues—two people in this industry—because there's so much noise that goes around with it," he dished.
The former flames have 15-year-old daughter, Ava, in high school, as well as an 11-year-old son, Deacon, together. In 2007, the duo's divorce was finalized after eight years of marriage.
Phillippe also has a daughter, Kailani, with model-actress Alexis Knapp.
As far as his life surrounded by girls, he said he's had plenty of experience by growing up with three sisters in a "very female household."
When asked if he's worried about his oldest daughter dating soon, the actor shared, "Not too much, 'cause I don't think shell suffer fools. She's going to have high standards."
In regards to Phillippe's own heartthrob reputation, he revealed, "I'm a pretty regular dude." He went on, "I'm also a pretty dedicated dad and have multiple companies, so there's not a lot of time for me to be a Hollywood bad boy."
