The Many Emotions Emmy Rossum Experiences at a Knicks Game

Wow, does Emmy Rossum like basketball or does Emmy Rossum like basketball?

The Shameless star found herself sitting courtside at the Knicks game last night, and she just could not handle the drama of the game. She could not!

Cameras captured her every move during the game, and she was on a true emotional roller coaster. Sometimes she was up, sometimes she was down, and sometimes she was just plain crazy. In her defense it was a bit of a nail-biter—the Knicks, who happen to be the worst team in the league, beat last year's NBA champions (the Spurs) by a mere four points in overtime. Still, we think it's fair to say that Rossum was hands-down the most passionate fan of the game.

As you can see in the photo above, she starts out pretty stable. She's at a fun basketball game, she's in a cute outfit, she's got courtside tickets...life is good. It's great to be Emmy Rossum. But, it doesn't stay great to be Emmy Rossum...

Things are starting to go a little awry. We call this Unsure Emmy Rossum. She might be mad, she might be worried, or she might be giving a side eye to the nacho vendor who just skipped her section. The world will never know.

Okay, yep, this is definitely about the nacho vendor. She is clearly so upset at the idea of missing out on cheesy, crunchy goodness that all she can do is grin and bear it. Grin like a serial killer, but grin nonetheless. Hopefully things will take a turn for the better.

Things do not take a turn for the better. Emmy Rossum is very stressed out. This probably now has something to do with the very close game, and not with the nachos. But, she's probably thinking "Man, if I had some nachos right now, it would make this very close game a lot easier to handle."

"I'm Emmy Rossum, and I'm so worried about whether the Knicks will win this game that I am literally ripping my hair out! I even picked an outfit in a very subtle Knicks color scheme and for what? For nothing!"

Emmy Rossum will not take this game sitting down! If she has to stand and scream to make something happen, then darnit she's gonna stand and scream.

This, ladies and gentleman, is Emmy Rossum experiencing pure, unadulterated joy. The Knicks have won in a buzzer beater (or something), and she is positively euphoric. It's probably all because the players could physically feel her emotions on the court. Now, can someone get the woman her darn nachos already?
