If you guessed the lob was the most popular haircut this spring then give yourself a pat on the back, do a fist pump and high five a million angles. Yes, the collarbone-length cut we've seen nearly every A-lister sport at some point in the last six months is still the most-requested crop in salons across the country.

We suspected as much since even in the last month more celebs—including Sarah Hyland, Kim Kardashian and Margot Robbie—have tried out the shorter style.  So we chatted with the top celebrity hairstylists in the mane game and not only confirmed that yes, everyone is currently loving the lob but also got some hints on what they think the next big haircut will be.

What to Get Right Now: Go Lob
"The lob is chic but also has a very cool vibe, depending on how it's styled," says celeb hairstylist Harry Josh, who created one on Kate Bosworth recently. "It's a great no-fuss style which makes it handy for summer weather. Plus, it looks great messy and tousled and carries that beach-y look really well. It's long enough to pull back but short enough to keep you cool. I think it's the ultimate look for warmer weather!"

OK, But What About the Bob?
Sure, the lob is the "it" ‘do right now but the bob is still trendy too. Celeb hairstylist Oscar Blandi says that Jennifer Lawrence's version is still his most requested haircut.

And Kristin Ess—who created Lauren Conrad and Lucy Hale's crops—agrees. "I think the bob and the lob are both here to stay for 2015. They're so much fun! I bet lots of people who didn't do it for fall will likely go for a chop this spring/summer after seeing how doable it is on pretty much any face shape. The texture is what makes it so fun!"

Speaking of texture, L'Oréal celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak concurs about the cut and suggests you don't go full bedhead with it: "I'm loving the barely-there waves for spring. Just a loose bend for movement with a slightly live-in texture. Everything feels organic with a modern edge. Complementing the barely-there waves with a simple hair accessory is also a fave of mine for the coming months."

What Everyone Will Be Trying in Three Months: The Edgy Pixie
While famed hairstylist Chris McMillian agrees lobs à la Kardashian and Robbie are uber hot right now he also thinks that in a few months stars are going to be going even shorter. Like, "Scarlett Johansson short," he predicts.  Adds Sally Hershberger hairstylist Tanya Quintero (clients include Kate Hudson and Sandra Bullock): "I really feel that the summer haircut everyone has their eye on is Scarlett's new cut. It really is the perfect soft edgy cut for summer. A great transition from the lob if you want to take it to the next level."
