Think of the Children! Nickelodeon Showed a Topless Woman in an Episode of Oggy and the Cockroaches

Parents are outraged that a photo of a cartoon woman exposing her breasts was shown in the background of the animated series

UPDATE: Nickelodeon says in a statement to E! News: "The scene, which comes from an international acquisition, was unfortunately overlooked in the screening process. We have pulled the episode from our air and online."

Parents, you now have one more thing to worry about concerning the cartoons your kids watch. Not only could they be desensitized to violence, but now they might get a glimpse of some scandalous cartoon jugs!

Someone over at Nickelodeon slipped in a photo of a topless female duck character into a March 5 episode of the cartoon series Oggy and the Cockroaches. It's a blink-and-miss-it moment, but whoever was behind this should know better than to try and put something past the Internet.

We'd be more shocked about the boobs, but Disney has been doing this for decades now, but mostly with phallic imagery.

Obviously this was no accident, as someone had to draw the topless duck-woman (nipples and all) and then put it in the background of a scene. Parents apparently went bonkers, because violence between cartoon creatures is fine, but a naked pair of breasts?! That is worthy of some pearl-clutching.

The NSFKids aspect of the image is pretty inappropriate, sure, but we're actually a little more creeped out by the duck-woman hybrid. What is she?!

The network has since pulled the episode, titled "(Un)happy Camper," from the website and from its schedule.

Nickelodeon has yet to respond to our request for comment.

Personally, we think the boobs are the most natural and beautiful thing about this show. An overweight cat living with cockroaches?! That poor creature needs to be rescued by a loving family, stat. We're calling PETA.

Oggy and the Cockroaches is a slapstick French cartoon (Oggy et les Cafards) that ran on Fox in the late '90s and has been re-airing on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons since February.

And this is right about the time when we start complaining that back in our day we had better cartoons. Just imagine us shaking our canes as we talk about Recess, The Magic School Bus, Doug and Rugrats.
