Aladdin and Cinderella and all those Disney heroes and heroines are great.

But what about the fans that lose it for Jake from The Rescuers Down Under?!

There are so many Disney films that some underrated or forgotten characters can get lost in the shuffle. Let's take a moment to honor the ones that need a little more love.

1. Hades from Hercules (1997): Only James Woods can voice a villain so evil, yet so dry and sarcastic. He switches from angry to hilarious at the drop of a hat. This forgotten Disney baddie deserves some major respect!

2. Jake from The Rescuers Down Under (1990): Jake is a tough Australian kangaroo mouse who certainly makes the lady mice swoon. He's basically a tiny Indiana Jones with a tail. We're smitten!

3. Lumière from Beauty and the Beast (1991): This charming candelabra should get more credit as the breakout Beauty and the Beast star. He's a singer, a dancer, and a bit of a ladies' man–and he's just so smooth!

4. Jock from Lady and the Tramp (1955): This Scottish terrier basically offers to marry Lady when Tramp knocks her up. Sure, it's an old school move, but we respect his loyal friendship and devotion to Lady!

5. Princess Kida from Atlantis (2001): She's a forgotten Disney princess and a warrior one, too (just like Xena!) She has badass fighting skills, and she doesn't tolerate fools. Gotta respect that hustle!

6. Kala from Tarzan (1999): So many Disney films are missing one or both parents of the leads, so it's nice to see the unconditional love Kala has for her adopted human son Tarzan. Her compassion and sacrifice is guaranteed to bring on the tears!

7. Wheezy from Toy Story 2 (1999): We first see this pitiable penguin as an asthmatic toy with a broken squeaker, but he returns as a singer with the pipes of Robert Goulet. This little guy is just too cute for words!

8. Narrator from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (1949): All of the songs in this Disney short are performed by the legendary Bing Crosby. Sure, Bing's Christmas albums are memorable, but you haven't lived until you've heard him croon about the Headless Horseman!

9. Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove (2000): He starts out as a villain's henchman, but he really means well! Who doesn't love a man that can cook and communicate with squirrels?!

10. Edna Mode from The Incredibles (2004): An accomplished designer who could choose to show at the biggest runways in the world, Edna would rather innovate for superheroes. She's a skilled professional who knows what she wants, dahling.

11. Tito from Oliver & Company (1988): He's a feisty Chihuahua voiced hilariously by Cheech Marin. He's flirty, fierce, and has more one-liners than we can count!
