The 31-year-old Australian star of the Thor and The Avengers movies brought along his younger brother, The Hunger Games' and Independence Day 2's Liam Hemsworth, 25, as well as their lesser-known but equally as hot older brother Luke Hemsworth, who is 33 and also an actor.
Chris later turned on the hotness up to 11 (and actually quoted that This Is Spinal Tap line later in the show) by appearing shirtless in a skit. He also took part in two epic parodies—a long-awaited spoof of the FOX series Empire and a mock news report involving, yes, The Avengers.
Saturday's show marked Chris' SNL debut and comes less than two months before the May 1 release of The Avengers: Age of Ultron, in which he reprises his role as Thor.
Also on the episode, musical guest Zac Brown Band performed "Heavy Is the Head," featuring Chris Cornell, as well as their song "Homegrown."

Kenan Thompson plays Lucious Lyon and fellow SNL performer Sasheer Zamata plays ex-wife Cookie in this long-awaited spoof of the drama series, FOX's breakout hit of 2015. Chris plays a new character, Chip the office manager. Also check out the impeccable impersonation of the "Drip Drop" song.
4. Chris Hemsworth the porn star
Appearing semi-shirtless, The actor joined Vanessa Byer and Cecily Strong as they reprised their characters of retired adult film stars, playing Dong Juan de Dark Hole, who is able to work in the industry after undergoing a surgical procedure.
5. Amped-up Thor
Chris reprises his superhero role and is in full party mode in a mock news conference in which the Avengers are interviewed after defeating Ultron.
