Big Sean is in looooooove.

The Detroit rapper has been busy promoting his upcoming album Dark Sky Paradise (which drops on Tuesday). But along with gearing up for his latest release, Big Sean has also been continuously gushing over his girlfriend Ariana Grande, and it's just so precious.

Big Sean was the special guest for The Real's milestone 100th episode (which was just renewed for a second season!), and in an exclusive clip obtained by E! News, he was asked about his famous relationship, which he said is "great. I can't complain, man."

Co-host Jeannie Mai continued to ask what caught his eye when it came to Grande, and after giving his signature, "Whoa," Big Sean (who couldn't stop smiling) said, "We started out as friends, but that was the thing. It progressed from there, and that's the first time I've ever been in a situation where we started as friends and it progressed, so that's what it is."

But there was also a certain quality Sean was specifically drawn to that he felt separated Ariana from other women.

"What I like in women is when they got drive and focus, you know what I mean? That's what I like, I attach to, I appreciate, because I got drive, I got focus, too. And every day I'm like, 'You gotta get it.'"

Big Sean celebrated his album release party last night at SKY Studio in downtown Los Angeles, and, of course, his ladylove was present to support her beau. He posted a sweet PDA picture of the pair stealing a smooch at the shindig with the caption, "Thankful for u @arianagrande! I love u. Thankful for the life I live...It's confirmation that we can do anything we put our minds to as human beings. The world is yours!"

The star-studded event also included guests Beyoncé, Jay Z, Childish Gambino, Jhene Aiko and Pusha T.
